Sox & Martin Dragster

This original, "Sox & Martin", 1970 Plymouth 426 Hemi Cuda, was a unique race car for the famous Sox & Martin Team. With Ronnie Sox behind the wheel, this car won National and Regional events, in both NHRA Pro Stock and AHRA GT-1 classes. The Sox & Martin Team was recognized as the 1st to set the "Standard" for being a Professional Drag Race Team. Not only was this Sox & Martin, Pro Stock Hemi Cuda, always tuned for maximum power and always clean and detailed, but all Team Members were always in the Sox & Martin - Plymouth Uniforms, with matching shirts, pants, shoes and hats. Now days, this 1970 Sox & Martin, Hemi Cuda, is still tuned for maximum power and kept as nice as possible, so that fans can still see and hear the way it was and appreciate this historically significant, race car. Restored in the '70 NHRA Pro Stock, livery, it would still run the same numbers as in it's glory days. At least with Ronnie behind the wheel! From the high compression 426 Hemi, twin 4500 Holley Carbs, the IR Aluminum Intake and on thru the 833 4-speed and Dana 60 rear end with 4:88 gears, this is certainly one of the most loved, Sox & Martin race cars of it's day
