@Libraa89 u can left click the empty audio tracks and click "delete tracks" and check the audio and video files then choose "all empty tracks" and click ok. then audio 1 and video 1 should be aligned. Hope this helped :]

This is the most arse backwards video editing software available. The Sony Vegas user interface is so much more intuitive and user friendly

I've been editing with Adobe Premiere Pro CS3 for almost 3 years, but I've never come across this problem before. I asked a friend - who's a bit more experienced with the programme than I am - but he couldn't remember exactly what I should do to solve the problem.
Anyways, the problem is, the programme won't import the sound along with the video, whenever I import a video clip. Can you help?

@Libraa89 Because the first three channels are by default mono and your clip is probably stereo (fourth channel is stereo). You can create a custom Preset and only use stereo channels or remove some of the mono ones.
