  • Was it a difficult task fitting the 500 motor in the 250 frame? I'm sure had to change the ignition too. Nice bike by the way.

  • @powertoweight100 My Dad and his engineer did all the work so I cant be 100% accurate but i believe that he had to do some cutting to the frame all round to fit the engine and pipes.. the wiring harness was custom built...the bike has so much modifications i will have to get the full desciption off the owner and update this blog...

  • @Scootertuner1000 Wow that's pretty cool. I only knew of the Two Stroke Shop RS500GP conversion kit for the RS250. I know the RGV and RS shared the 250gp motor.

  • @powertoweight100 You can actually buy a conversion kit to do it that makes it really easy. You get new engine mounts that bolts onto the 250 mounts and a plug adapter for the regular wiring harness. I have seen them on the web, but I don't remember where.
