Another 62A with export combines rolls along the Susquehanna on a beautiful early spring evening. You can see the old A&S right of way above the train.

  • Awesome as usual, how often does the 62A run by the Port Road? Is it usually on Sundays?

My girlfriend was at Shenks Ferry last week when this passed and had called to tell me, I kicked myself for not being down there to see it!

  • They seem to run these things whenever. There are periods where one doesn't run for a month or two and then all of the sudden they run once a week for a while. If it is running, it is often Saturday or Sunday evening. There is one running this weekend (4/11-12) so keep your ears close to a scanner!

  • Had to work today, tried to find an update on where it was, did it pass by Port Road Saturday? If not, maybe will try to catch it Sunday.

  • Well I had the scanner on last night, and I didn't hear it. There was 1 train which had a terrible radio and I couldn't make out what train it was. Unless it ran after 11PM I didn't hear it

  • I saw one of these long trains with combine on it coming from PA one day! I was on the local transit bus coming from Ravenna Ohio back to Kent! The tracks that go to and from PA go right behind Walmart!

  • Excellent*****. Shot a similier train as this at Horseshoe Curve in July 2009. I don't know if it's the same train number. Check out the video.

  • Ahhhh, thank god at least SOMEBODY's out representing the Port Road!! This is a great vid, you did a good job putting this one together. The fact that the 62A was the train you shot just about put the icing on the cake. I'm gonna check the rest of your Port Road vids tomorrow for sure.

  • 5 stars + fav + my son says thanks!!! Great job.

  • cool,thx
