@charmed1twenty4
Could you please explain me or point out the definitions in the rule book what is pre rotation or post rotation or where they call the beginning of jumps?
I've heard that the rule book says (or said at the time) the direction the skater is skating right before they start jumping motion is the start line of the rotation, acording to that rule, Mao's 3A is completely fine. So could you please tell me why you say this is 2A? I sincerely want to know.

@charmed1twenty4
It's true, Charmed1twenty4, that the pre-rotation of a jump is necessary to all jumps in ice skating. it is pert near impossible to jump out of nowhere and get three rotations in the air. it just doesn't happen. her rotation here is called a skid, which is proper technique for an axel. it is a higher level entry to this extremely difficult jump. as for the landing, it is also under a quarter rotation, therefore is not scored as a double.
