Days Like These aka the British version of That 70s Show Pt 1/3 "I Hate Sundays"

Many words have been written about how the US takes and ruins British shows but once in a long while, the reverse is true. Here is an episode of the sole series of Days Like These which was ITVs attempt to redo That 70s Show for a British audience. The original script was entitled Sunday, Bloody Sunday but re-titled I Hate Sundays for its British incarnation. Nearly a shot-for-shot remake but with little jiggles here and there; instead of planning to watch Steve Martin host SNL, the gang plans to visit a pub and try to get served. Instead of Lawrence Welk, Grandma watches The Good Life. You get the idea. June Whitefield guest stars as Grandma; that role was played by Marion Ross in the US version.

Allright this is the worst punk'd ever! That 80's show was better than this. I remember reading about this thinking "The British version is going to be great". After seeing this, I'm just going to stop thinking altogether.
