This is one of my next little projects. I drove it off of the trailer after siting about 30 years. Just took a little work. I Plan On putting an original ford flatbed back on.

  • its very cool that it drove after sitting for 30 years. im getting a 47 with the flat v8 thats been sitting for 11 years is there anything you recomend doing before cranking it? already had miracle oil in cylinders. thanks for the cool vids

  • @Salty123truck . Drain oil and coolant if any. Clean any sludge from the oil screen, and as much as you can from the pan. Do not trust the fuel pump diaphragm, replace it. It is hell cleaning the points-pull the radiator while the coolant is out and rebuild the distributor.

    Good luck.

  • are you gonna take the "headboard" off the front bumper?

  • @CenterLane1977 It is already off. And factory bumper installed. Thanks for the interest. Update coming soon.

  • very nice! any updates?

  • @mauser8mm192422 Update coming soon. I just got it street legal. Thanks for the interest

I'm thinking that I read somewhere that all the trucks from '48-'56 F1-F5/C6 are interchangeable...Really?? can ya help a brutha out....

  • needs alot of tlc

  • if taht where in a norther state where it snow that thing would be no more. 30 years WOW

  • Looks like a true labor of love. Best of luck to you.

  • No more updates?

If you've lost interest and want to sell it!!

Please let me know ; )

  • I remember a lot of these old trucks on the road. Does it have the V8 or I6 engine. I do remember these old 4-Speeds you have to double clutch or just match engine and tranmission speed to shift them.

  • Looks like tomater.
