^^^ Ughh. Ever heard of S14 blacktops? You know, the ones with vvt and a t28?
s13 Blacktops are just newer so they generally have lower mileage. There are other little things but that is about it.

@frostyisag10 just so you are aware..s13's have been built with red tops and black tops with no V V T..both t15 compressor's with t25 trim..s14's have black tops with V V T with a notch in the back which indicates it's year being built (94-97 or 98ish), turbo is t28 compressor housing and shit with t25 trim...and s15 has black top only, 6 speed, t28 compressor and t28 trim and all..theres no need to get into the deep specifics but this is pretty basic for any Nissan fan and sr20's in general....

@angel978936 no thats not right at all. Redtop just means its the older motor and blacktop is the newer.

the redtop is from an s15..blacktop from a s14 and i forgot what colour is the s13 i think its gold not too sure.

you dont know what the fuck you are talking about. i have a 1996 240sx s14 sr20det motor swap. none of them come stock with NOS!!! the red top is the s13 motor and it comes with a Garret T-25 turbo! Next time, make sure you know what you're talking about before you talk
