Learn to play Still Alive on Guitar

This is a simple lesson on playing Still Alive from the game Portal on the guitar. I'm teaching this song in the original key as heard in the game itself, as it's been performed in other keys as well. I'm a little confused about the strumming. You only hit three strings, however, it comes out sounding like you're hitting 4 individually. The 4th bridging the sound between D and Bm. Do you repeat one of the three strings or is the 4th sound just a result of uber fast switching between chords?

@ThePieIsLie Thanks for your comment. You are hearing only three strings. The secret is to hold the notes out and it sounds like more strings.

for the beginning, what strings do i exactly git when im doing the D and Bm, i hear the first 3 but there is a 4th tone before it goes to Bm and back again to D sorry im a noob with guitars

@sebias2 It's just the first three strings. Your ears maybe outlining another note in the chord that I'm not playing. Doesn't mean you're a noob, it means you have good ears!

Gm can be plated easier (Sorta) just play it just like a G only move your point finger back one fret.
