What kind of cab are you using?

Perfect playing! Need only a more "slap" or agressive sound. :D

Great cover, I can play this but your tone and consistency blows mine out of the water. Nice job.

@mjk11outdoors & @AlexGeoffreyForbes
I found a bass tab for a four string on this song (Look for it on 911tabs)
The guy who made it admits it's wrong... but surely it helps. (It looks like the intro you are playing is the as on the tab, which is nice, because it's the only part I've gotten down ;)
I do believe Myung plays this on a 5 or 6-string, though...

@mjk11outdoors thx for the comment man!!! Unfortunately, I've never been able to find a good bass tab for this either... basically, I just grabbed the guitar tab, and combined with a bit of 'by ear' and 'improv'. Myung follows Petrucci through a fair bit of this song, so hopefully by using guitar tab (and watching this vid), you should be able to pick up a fair bit of it.... Good Luck - it's worth the effort...!!!! :)

Thx dude!
I like Musicman for its tone when slappin / poppin (though I think the Stingray is an awesome product and sounds good fingerpicking as well)... Search Youtube for "Louis Johnson Slapbass"
- that was the vid that sold me :) :)
