I went to Hiller's and Michigan Made one evening to buy gifts that were made in Michigan. To my delight Hiller's( who always has Michigan tags out) had a flyer with Michigan companies information.

That was great.  I didn't even know a lot of those were Michigan made. You've definitely inspired me to look a little closer next time I shop. I also feel the need to send some out-of-state family a little gift basket to remind them how much Michigan has. Thanks.

Holly~ thank you so much for your comment. I love your gift basket idea. I just gave an inservice at work and had all the prizes "Michigan" products. People really enjoyed it. I feel that excitement too! I guess there's nothing like hard times to pull us together. Very cool! I've been inspired. Gift baskets of these items would be enjoyed by everyoone. I've never heard of a lot of these items. I remember Faygo, Jiffy and Velvet Peanut Butter! And of course Saunders!
