The end is near everyone... :( Guiding Light is airing its last couple of episodes before ending on September 18, 2009.

I am still so hurt, angry, and sick to my stomach that CBS has cancelled a part of television HISTORY. A show with such a rich history, with incredibly loyal fans, and a soap about family, friendship, love, passion, drama, and action. Some of the most popular supercouples have come from this show. Some of the most talented actors EVER have come from this show and they choose to cancel it? And replace it with a pathetic GAME SHOW?! CBS and b!tch Barbara Bloom think that Lets Make a Deal is going to get them more ratings and make them more money? Are you kidding me?! All you had to do was fire Ellen Wheeler's @ss and this show would've been fine!!!!!!!

But anyway enough of my anger lol.... I still can't believe this show is ending! You can expect ALOT more GL tributes to follow this. This just shows everything I love about GL: Romance, drama, family, friendship, and Shaynah :P haha!

I love this song so I threw this video together because we all need to remember why we individually fell in love with GL no matter what it was! Did you love the Bauers? Could you just swoon watching Josh and Reva scenes (OR Jeffrey and Reva!)? Was the Four Musketeers friendship inspiring to you? Did you fall for Bill/Lizzie, Shayne/Dinah, James/Daisy, etc.? Or did Otalia's controversial relationship get you hooked? Whatever you love(d) about this show, keep that with you because there will never be another show like Guiding Light.

All we can hope for now is happy endings and an end that GL fans from ANY generation can be proud of. Do you think we can at least get that Ellen, Babs, etc?!?!??!!?!?!!

Yeah I am so sad that they are canceling the show! The person that plays Frank wants to make a show called Company and keep everybody. he is pitching the idea to P&G to put it on the air. Well let's hope that he can convince them. Love the video! Amazing!
