  • @wallcrawler32 i think they just decided *that day* to play the song for the first time ever, so cut them some slack, geesh...

  • whoa. i can understand if you don't like this kind of music. but don't bash on artists.

it's not like you could do any better.

btw: i love tegan and sara.

  • Somehow it's quirky when Sara reads the lyrics. Plus with the glasses! OMG! She looks like Leisha Hailey for some reason. I'm a total Tegan fan but Sara is so cute.

Tegan and Sara has accomplished a lot and they have at least 100 songs that they have written. So Sara needs the lyrics to some of the songs, so what? Other singers don't even sing live.

  • My only thought is, if you're going to perform a song live, take 10 minutes to learn the lyrics.

  • ohmygod. sara. why do you manage to torture me like this?

  • @wallcrawler32 matt would have preformed with them if he didn't they could do it right. so chill.I don't see you in the video playing up there with them

  • Awful..

  • @wojo4hitz YEAH you think. so you don't know

  • @maydecember513 @Shimmer311 Also, think of all the other covers T&S have done, like Dancing in the Dark and Umbrella. Definitely wasn't a guest thing, though it would have been pretty entertaining to see Rihanna or Bruce Springsteen up there with them.

  • @Shimmer311 @maydecember513 No, artists do not have to pay to cover a song live, only if they record and sell it, as I said. Rather, venues (radio stations, etc. etc.) pay licensing fees to ASCAP, BMI, or SESAC in order to play music, and then those organizations (ASCAP, etc.) distribute the fees back to their (musician) members as royalties. This is done because it is completely impractical to monitor live performances of cover songs. Look up ASCAP on wiki, etc.

  • sara said in ON IN AT that she was extremely nervous to play this song. she did amazingly well tho. love it
