  • This song has a special meaning for me. My first wife and I first saw Hedges in 1983, maybe '84, and were instant fans. A few years later, she was battling cancer; this song and its message struck a nerve with her, gave her more confidence about believing in herself and her ability to shape her reality. Thanks for posting the performance, and for the bittersweet memory.

  • Hedges... the master of all imagination.... we will all miss him....

Hey man, i read your post, and i hope for the best, i salute you from Chile

  • @MrFrench439 That's powerful man. Rock on.

  • Dude! This version is EPIC!

  • I'd even go higher than that. C is too low: the string becomes floppy and loose.

D A E A A A should be OK. Still a difficult tuning. The high e may break if you tune up, and it may be too loose if you tune down.

  • Which ever note is closer, so if B is closer lower than higher, GO LOWER!

Simple, and it does not kill your strings

  • B1 means down. All the way baby!

  • Which ever, but it is always suggested to tune down, but if it is easier or if you really want never tune more than a whole step above a string

  • C G D G G G is the tuning you want to use. Tune your low E down to C.

  • A true artist! Technical talent with a vision to push the boundaries of music. It is so depressing to see and hear mainstream music today.........it is so empty and void of emotion and art. Michael, you will always be remembered!
