  • civilization.....

  • Yes the southern states of the US are alot hotter than the warm summers in Germany.

  • I've grown up in Leipzig and I have to say, that is one of the most beautiful cities in germany. and this vid is really made well.

You know the word "harsh" exists in older german too. You write it "harsch" but the speaking is the same, also the meaning.

  • @DaltonsBizkit

Leipzig has a latitude of 51°20' N, so it's further to the north then all U.S American states, except for AK.But I think it depends on the wind direction. Winds from the west are wet and mild (not to warm in summer, not to cold in winter), east or south winds are dry and extreme (very hot in summer ~100°F, very could in winter ~10°F or lower).

We don't have this extreme weather here in Germany, cause of the Alps and the Scandinavian Mountains. Check the maps! :)

  • @BR618 If you've been to the U.S, could you tell me if the sun is as harsh in Germany as it is here?

  • @BR618 Looks really nice.

  • @DaltonsBizkit

Normally it's sunnier here, we have a good mixture out of see and continental climates. E.g. until last Friday we had temperatures from 28°C to 35°C (82°-95°F).

Best holiday weather, to go swim in one of over 5 lakes in and near Leipzig, to visit the huge "Auenwald" or to visit the biggest European memorial, the "Völkerschlachtdenkmal". A 1913 finished 91m (~300ft) high building to remember the defeat Napoleons army near/in Leipzig in 1813.

For more infos pls visit wikipedia!

Of course we have DHL trucks in Germany, in fact DHL is owned by "Deutsche Post AG" (German Post) since 2002. And we also have a big DHL-air-post-cross at Leipzig airport.

  • Is the weather always that lovely in Germany? I don't think I saw the sun touch anything in that whole stream.
