Shovewood 1.11 Court Martial part four
Escape Committee Bulletin
Part four- And our two lovely boys go for a train ride.Dont they both look adorable in their RAF uniforms.
The next time youre held captive by Virgin Rail, GNER, Amtrak or your national equivalent may we suggest attempting to start this conversation with a fellow Escape Officer. Maximum Lagergeld is awarded to whomever gets in the phrases "O.K I'll do the bunting." or "We can always play baseball in Leipzig." (unless you're actually going to Leipzig cause then thats cheating) We can confirm that this passes a very long, very cold nighttime rail journey from Chicago to Denver.
Another great British actor here as the defence counsel Marius Goring. English despite his homonymic proximity to a certain Herman Goering.

Hello parabat *waves* Are you sure it's Marius Goring? I'd say not. I do love him as the conductor in Matter of Life and death, and David McCallum is part of the team who arrests him when he's being a german Colonel in 'Ill Met by Moonlight'. I was also slightly in love with him in the red shoes for a time, so im prepared to say it's not him- i wish it was though :)

Oh look of shock on his face when they recomend the death penalty.
I think I just figured out why we are all obsessed with McCallum, he makes us long to swoop in and rescue him. We want to be his hero and yet he STILL manages to appear heroic to us.

you could be right about that Zarquon, my own personal theory (which incorporates yours) is that mccallum works by contridictions, desperately trying to pretend one thing whilst showing another conflicting emotion at the same time. (basically he acts outwardly to the other characters then has a little expression on his face which lets the auidence know how he's really feeling) It makes him a very interesting actor to watch as well as oh so very adorable.
