Chameleons UK covered by Washington DC's the Sisters of Morrissey. Not sure why we tackled Mad Jack on Dec 6, 2003 other than I love this song alot, and the final audio product has yet to see the light of day. This particular take while rife with various mistakes has some sweet footage of many key 90s alum of the Sisters of Morrissey...with mainstay Sean on da mic, Bob Banasik (also with Zen Parade) on bass, Rick Stein & Mike Jetton on guitars & Dave Smith on drums. Listen to the glorious sound captured! We'll let the engineer & videographer on this tune have the final say:
Steve says:
Recorded hi-fi stereo vhs, the full multichannel mix treatment was employed for this propitious basement rehearsal session. Turn it up!
Nice job!

Nice cover, very good. I'm currently obsessed with The Chameleons. Wish I could find more versions of this song around.

@maisiew123 Not the craziest misconception. The lyrics aren't very flattering, though!

@MrChameleon2010 It was actually inspired by a childhood schoolmate Mark knew who appeared in a nightmare of his which ended up being eerily prophetic when he was to meet him once more over a decade later.

Nice cover guys. 411nfo "Notes by Mark - The demo for this song was very different and had the title 'Bobby Moore's Wine' Actually a lad in Middleton, whose name was Jack, got very paranoid because he thought the song was about him, it wasn't actually, but it could have been..."" I aways thought this song was about Cannabis or Jack the ripper. lol it's another name for Bobby Moores Wine. Didn't notice they were the same song
