Season 1 and season 4..

I think Taylor rocked at season 4... she made the loss that most people felt after Marissa died kind of ok.

I however was not a big fan of Marissa, Mischa got too much weird stories and when you look back at it... she never was really happy or calm and it started to annoy me... ofc I DID miss her when she was gone... and cried when she died... but still.. season 4 was pretty awsome!!!

In a way, they had to kill Marissa because Ryan and Marissa were starting to like each other more and more toward the end of the season and the whole Hawaii thing would've had some type of falling out that would keep her in Newport. With her in Newport, Ryan and Marissa would get back together, have a love triangle, break up, then at the end become friends again. Its the same old story with them and I wish she didn't leave the show but I think she kindof had to.

if Mischa stayed on the OC for the fourth season and just went to Hawaii with her dad...the whole romance thing with Taylor could still happen and idk like you just don't kill off Chuck and get Blair a new guy, you don't kill Peyton and hook Lucas with somebody else....the show was built on the basis of those core fantastic four couples....sigh i just really miss Marissa and Summer....Marissa and Ryan..hell I even miss those fights Marissa and her mom would have in evry episode
