More Than That...chapter 20

I turned in for the night hoping that Nick wouldn't be so mad at me. I put Aiden to bed and decided to take a shower first. I hopped in the shower to just let the hot water hit me. I needed it. Just let the water wash my troubles down the drain. I was leaning up against the wall of the shower and my head was in the water so I didn't hear him come into the room. I felt his warm skin lean up against mine, his soft lips kiss the back of my shoulder up to my neck. I felt his lips near my ear. I could feel him breathing hard like he wasn't sure what he wanted to say. He kissed the edge of my ear and he whispered that he loved me. That made me feel so much better even though I knew we still needed to talk about all of this.
April: I'm so sorry I never meant to hurt you
Nick: there is no need to apologize, I've been pressuring you about all this and your right I should just wait for the right time. I don't know what I was thinking rushing everything. I just want to enjoy you and Aiden as much as I can until the time is right.
April: so your not mad at me
Nick: of course not
He turned me to face him and pulled me closer to him. His left hand rested on my side and his right hand caressed my cheek right before he brought his lips to mine. He told me he loved me one more time and then there were no more words spoken. We made love standing against the shower, as uncomfortable as it sounds it was the most passionate as he's been so far. He was so gentle and loving. When the water started to get cold we got out and dried up. He never took his eyes off me. We went back into the bedroom and we lied down. We didn't get right to sleep we just talked. We laid there for hours and talked about everything, like we often do until we started to fall asleep. I awoke the next morning and once again he beat me to it. He's getting the hang of this daddy thing. I went to the kitchen and everyone had already had breakfast so I sat and had what was left. Right before I was almost done my sister came flying through the kitchen and said at the top of her lungs..."I hope your happy now". Of course I have no Idea what her problem is.
April: What's going on
Nick: well apparently I have a big mouth
April: I knew that, what is it
Nick: I was talking to Kevin about something and she over heard
April: ok and
Nick: Well I know I just told you last night that I would cool it with all these questions but I figured this one would be the last for awhile.
April: listening
Nick: I was wondering if you would be willing to find a place to live together, just the three of us
