People say "if we move out it will turn into a terrorist haven", so what does this mean ? we have to stay there FOREVER ? we've been in there nearly a decade, and the situation gets worse and worse, there's no way we can afford to stay for the amount of time it would take to re-build that country, it's been ravaged by war for years, thanks mostly to the USSR and the US during the late 70's/ early 80's when they used it as a virtual chess board .

Why does the debate never run along the lines of "why are we still there" it's always along the lines of "do we need more troops" "better equipment" etc
we shouldn't even be in there, the afghans never attacked us, hell, the Taliban has never attacked us, never threatened to attack us, and does not have the capability to attack us, the few actual al qeada that were there are no longer there, they've moved out.
