Let's make everybody sing, That they are the beginning and ending of everything, That we all are stronger than everything they taught us that we should fear!
-
well no shit this isn't a cover genius

This is not really an "earlier version by Tom Gabel," it's from the Acoustic EP 7". The reason it's faster/higher pitched than normal is that whoever made the mp3 has a poorly set up turntable.

@thomasprince1 that's what i called it when i covered this song a couple times hah

I got all the acoustic ones off napster and they were the first against me I ever heard. In like 2000. Someone gave me the album and it pissed me off because it didn't sound like this. This shit still gives me goosebumps. Thanks for this.

@cubbyblues Wow, you would've finally been right about something, IF that wasn't sarcasm.
"Exactly. Retreat from an argument that you clearly lost. I have shamed you enough for one evening". Teehee, had to throw that in, because you're such a tool <3. Sayonara and keep the "intelligent expression" goin'!
-
@ASFARtv Oh, OK, So when I say they are pop punk, that's an assumption. But when you say they're folk/punk, that's a fact. Gotchya.
*Note the sarcasm.
I'm done with this. I schooled all of you.

@cubbyblues 1. He stated he wasn't a fan, therefore, you're WRONG. 2. Against Me! is a blend of folk and punk, yet again, you're wrong. 3. That is not a fact, its an ASSUMPTION, which, thus far, makes you wrong 3 times in just one statement. 4. Apparent: readily seen. We all see you arguing with people for over a span of a few months, which went beyond stating you're opinion, sooo I used it correctly, but you seem to be unable to grasp middle school level grammar. Intelligent expression, huh? =]
@cubbyblues Haha, back to "ignorant". Take my advice and go pick up a dictionary. Thanks for the laughs and keep being a twat! Later.

@cubbyblues Yet again, proof your an asshole. Don't be ashamed that you don't know how to really listen to a song. It must be hard considering GnR's didn't have any significant messages.
