@mazin13 Oh yeah I know they're way more capable than people give them credit for. I also have a Freelander that I took to Moab if you search on youtube for "Moab Freelander" it's the first three videos that pop up. Also, if you search through my videos you'll see some others of my Freelander2/LR2 going off road in Texas.

@94gtvert you posted this a year ago but i still want to respond. I have a 2010 LR2 and the only terrain i have is desert (sand dunes and such). I took my car many times and it can do a lot even with street tiers. But if you really want it to go up the real tough dunes, you have to release a lot of air from the tiers (im sure u know that) and you will see that this car is much more than it seems. Even though its a unibody, it can achieve more than other so called off-roaders hands down.

1. This isnt offroad.
2. This is a precisely measured and calibrated outdoor showroom / track specifically built for this vehicle.
3. This level of capability is available elsewhere for less money. (initial cost and spare parts)
4. This particular Land Rover Model, is what I call a Milker, when a brand has a few successful models, they try to milk that success by spreading out their roots. In other words, from creation, the engineers were not allowed to make a good car, but merely fit a niche.

@mark5hs if your corolla can do it then I can flip a car with a flex from my shaft !!
corollas are taxis and I cant deny that looking around me.

I have a Rimini Freelander 2/LR2 and there are sand dunes here in West Texas. I want to take it to the dunes, how well did they do in the sand? I still have the street tires on mine.
