In the early 80's I went to the Surf Ballroom when I traveled across the country. (I was in the Navy, switching bases)
I told the person at the door that I was a BIG Buddy fan and they let me in and gave me a tour of the Surf! That was VERY cool! To the Staff of the Surf, again, many thanks!!

It's on my bucketlist to go to the Surf Ballroom one of these Febuarys and attend the Winter Dance Party Tribute...
