As Long As You're Here - Eeteuk & Nam Gyuri

Okay, so lemme give you the reason for these two being paired up.

I've wanted to make an Eeteuk video, but I was having a lot of trouble finding a girl for him. Since he hasn't really been linked to any female celebrity, it was frustrating for me. Good thing I watched an episode of Golden Star Bell when he had a loveline with Nam Gyuri. I found Nam Gyuri incredibly beautiful from that episode alone, in my opinion she's one of the most beautiful Korean woman Ive seen (Don't you think she looks like Kim Tae Hee at 3:39? Or is it just me?). She was also feminine and graceful enough to look good with Eeteuk, so the choice was pretty impressive.

Okay, so the problems I had with making this, besides the fact stupid Sony Vegas decided to crash every 5 minutes, was that the Seeya MVs that I found most useful were the exact opposite of Super Junior. While Eeteuk is being all adorable and making the heart sign, Nam Gyuri is roaming the streets, drinking and smoking, and she ends up either crying or killing herself (Sad Step was soooo horrible TT TT).

Anyway, I was excited to make something melodramatic, besides the fact that Eeteuk is my favourite member, also because of the videos I found of him, but I didnt know what song to use. Since no one decided to tip me off, I just used one of my all-time favourite tracks from Loveholic. I played around with the lighting and got everything to mesh together.

Dont laugh. I know many of you will laugh because you know where I got the Eeteuk scenes from, but just try to resist and just flow with the emotion of the song. I want to see if you guys could guess the storyline. ^^ But if you don't get the ending, Eeteuk dies, so yeah. I'm not enjoying killing SuJu members off either, but there's only so much possibility with these kinds of songs.

Eeteuk really should get into acting in dramas. He has the face, but were just so used to seeing him smile and being bright and cheerful. I love the scene with his angry outburst, it was dare I say hot? ?? x] Some of you might think that scene was a bit over the top, even as part of the storyline, but just remember I didnt have much to choose from. The only other time hes confronting someone even half as aggressively was in the Coffee Prince parody. xD I actually had that scene put in first, but it didn't have as good a feel. I actually think the final result makes it very emotional and realistic. =]

The film grain in Sony Vegas sucks. Those stupid lines are everywhere!! Dx

This took ages to just render, the stupid program crashed every single time. D; I had to render it into 9 parts and stick them together again. TT TT Because my internet was used up before the end of the month, I couldn't upload it then. I had to wait until the new month started, and since then I fixed a lot of the scenes anyway. Then, I attempted to render the whole thing exactly 46 times, and then 17 times in two parts until it finally worked. Then I went back and re-did the whole thing, but luckily Vegas was nice to me.

At some point I wanted to edit Jisun out completely, but in the end it felt better that she was shown. Gives it a nice sad feel to it. The original video didn't really have a plot to it, so there was nothing I could work around and had to start from scratch. That meant I had to make up a story, as well as finding scenes to portray the story into. I also tried a new way of displaying flashbacks, in case you couldn't tell the difference. All I added was some film grain, a kind of gold tint, and some "dust". I decided not to do greyscale because I wanted to use it as a technique. Pretty much the flashbacks are blurrier than the real scenes. But all of this video is blurry. =.= It hurts my eyes, because I've rendered this stupid thing a billion times and watched it in fullscreen. My glasses are going to crack... I think if Youtube had postponed maintenance for another hour, I would have gone mad, re-editing over and over again, fixing every tiny flaw... making new flaws... fixing them again..... Oh God, there are so many cuts where you can still see black strips on the side...

Unfortunately, alot of the Gyuri cuts were lighter coloured than the Eeteuk cuts and I wasn't able to fuse them together to look completely real. =.= And I'm still not too familiar with the fade-ins and fade-outs, so some parts might seem to be too quick. Sorry.

LOL I just found out Eeteuk actually did a parody of this song once on MNet in 2006. xD
