Dragon Flags are a good way to challenge your abs and add some variety to your workout.

This is actually a recording of a recording since I couldn't upload the original with Black Sabath playing in the background.

Any constructive criticism on my technique from someone who actually knows what they're talking about is welcome.

If you can do these well post a video, I only found 2 other videos on youtube when I started doing these.

  • @SS5Gowenks actually it isnt cos his body is not in line, hes lifting legs before he brings his torso up meaning hes taking work away from the core and making the hip flexors work and his legs arent fully extended

  • i think this is the first person who actually has done these right

  • @ogpimpkin699 Oh I'm sorry next time I will talk in little kid cartoon language so you can understand what I'm saying

ogpimpkin699's view on life : unga bunga if u watch cartoons like me u are cool, if you talk in big words u are gay

  • @NounsRus Ur gay

  • Id say do both

pivot at the shoulders (focuses shoulder mob. and trunk stab) easier version

and the dragon flag way harder on the core muscles, especially at this speed, using the deep stabilizers of the trunk (QL's Transverse Abs, pelvis floor) + the shoulder girdle (lats, lower traps, serratus ant.) as a stabilizer (like a plank) + the superficial movers of the trunk (rectus abs, obliques, psoas, rectus fem.) to coordinate movement...all around kick ass movement/stability

    bravo sir

  • Pivot at your shoulders (not at hip), don't flex hips.

  • not bad =)
