Thanks a lot, we use osx, because we have a lot of women working here. What is best to see if FinIntrusion or any other Tactical IT Intrusion or Remote Monitoring & Infection Solutions were installed or suspicious activity takes place?

Good point. I hear people say that every day. I don't break the law myself but I what I do and say is my own damned business and my government doesn't need to know. Not likely they'd really care what i'm doing but the principle is what people should be irate about.

One thing I CAN guarantee you 100% is that you'll never get another virus or spyware infection. You can also use IPTables which is the most common Unix-based firewall software. You can install Webmin if you need a GUI to manage it. I rarely use any type of GUI to configure much in Unix so i'm not sure how to use Webmin but I know a lot of my fellow Windows sys admins use them and they seem to work pretty well.

I personally use X over RedHat Linux but Ubuntu is a free, open source operating system that's good for those who are new to any of the Unix flavors . It's Linux based and can be downloaded from Ubuntu.com in the downloads section.

It's similar to Windows but takes a little getting used to. You can also use Open Office which an open source platform with the same functionality as MS Office. For a mail client: Thunderbird. Apple OS X runs on a Unix kernel.
