@paulffraser I have listened to her show daily for over 10 years. The focus of democracy now is overwhelmingly concerned with corporate power and abuse in our government. Not sure what you're listening to, but it isn't democracynow. Have a great day!

@tristramshandy3 Absolute bullshit her bias isn't anti-corporate, her bias is pro-stalinist, pro-marxist, pro-communist. She's basically a corporatist except she works in a different way

@brahmbhattbhavna = useless virgin.

gitmo's still open, people are still being held without charge, we still have rendition and "black sites", we're still in afghanistan and iraq, we've started bombing lybia, yemen, pakistan, and somalia. abortion rights are being gutted, workers rights are being stripped, health care is still the most expensive and least inclusive in the western world, obama's doj is targeting journalists, whistle blowers, pot growers, and environmentalists, the drug war still rages...
what's changed?

@BigMikeMcBastard If I wouldn't be talking about it on you tube, what makes you think I would be allowed to talk about it on the corporate owned mainstream media channels? That is what the Jane Akre clip is all about.
I have told you all that you need. Take care.

@BigMikeMcBastard I went to school with an investigative journalist that worked for CNN, Fox etc. Her name is Jane Akre. She is in a clip called, "The Corporation unsettling accounts" . See what she says about being a premier investigative jounalist and how they are controlled by special interests. It is a very popular clip on Y-T from the documentary, "The Corporation." You can also google her. See what she writes about.

@BigMikeMcBastard He has made some change as do all presidents. He has given some people what they wanted. Demublican or Republicrat, both parties serve the same masters...One of which are the owners of the private corporation called the Federal Reserve.

@marinello6 I'm actually watching the latest episode of Democracy Now!, if you must know.
I know because if what you said were true and you actually had any evidence of it it'd be a pretty monumental thing. You wouldn't be talking about it on YouTube, if you had any real evidence. Plus whoever you are I imagine that you're not one of the premier investigative journalists who have a network of inside sources or anything.
Being a critical reporter or journalist has NOTHING to do with "criticizing everybody equally!" It has to do with detecting bullshit from truth, letting people who are usually given no voice a chance to speak, and asking discerning questions of everyone. It has to do with informing, not entertaining or distracting the viewer. And as everyone can go to another video and see, Amy asks Obama very critical questions as well. The two parties are members of the same corporatocracy. She knows that.

I disagree. Amy isn't objective- she is biased. Her bias is anti-corporate. The rest of the mainstream media has a pro-corporate bias. The reason why Amy's bias has more honesty than the other side is because we happen to live in an age iof nearly ubiquitous corporate malfeasance.
That being the case, "news" outlets that focus on gays, gods, and guns are intentionally obfuscating the REAL problems we face.
Amy, concentrating on corporate crime, is closer to actual news than corporate propaganda
