  • @MasterNinja1990 well before you go, tensing doesnt neccessarily make you stronger. If you pay attention to your breath cycle, there are certain points in which you are stronger and your opponent is more vulnerable. (e.i. kiai, or a silent exhalation give you a suprising amount of strength, that is if you believe in chi)) nice to talk with you too

  • LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOL........humhum sorry xD

  • Ok, I respect that. But tensing up also makes you stronger. It is his weak point (the thumb) that is the trick. Togheter with your technique, speed and the element of suprise. Nice to talk to you have a good day.

  • @MasterNinja1990 I still dont like it. Besides, its much better to do any sort of release technique with a wide, open hand, not a fist. Tensing up makes it easier for them to grab you.

  • I have studied martial arts almost every day for 10years. I have practiced Karate, Taekwondo, Kickboxing, Boxing, Jiu-Jitsu, Capoera, Hapkido, Wing Chun kung fu and Tai Chi Chuan. I know 6 different kind of weapon forms. I am currently a Karate, Tai Chi and self defense instructor. I have studied with Jason David Frank. And I say you are wrong. This is a good technique, that with a little practice, will work. No technique in the world is bulletproof. So your way of thinking serves no purpose.

  • @TheOther9666 Training in an adapted form of Shaolin Kung-Fu that is btw

  • @MasterNinja1990 If someone big enough was really grabbing her, while it may not be very to escape, she wouldnt be able to do it with just a "block" (ive had seven years of training if that gives me any credibility)

  • id like to attack her in real life !!

  • Well I am a martial artist and a self defense instructor with 10 years of experiance. I have been in real life situations. And This technique is exelent for self defense.

  • thumbs up if u think he's kinda hot... ;)

  • @lingsterquinn This is complete and total crap. DO NOT listen to this, I do a form martial arts, Shorinji Kempo, that specializes in escaping grabs, it is not as esay doing a "block."

  • Aehmmm..? He has no second hand, does he? If one was serious about graping the wrists (besides that usually happens for defense, not attack...) he is likely going to grap both each one with one of his TWO hands.

If anyone is realy concerend about what would be the fastest way of releasing the (however wrong and foolish) graping a womans arm in order to make him face once more as she intends to go away in a club night situation - that is hardly self defense and you should not wast time for that

  • Wow. This is awesome! So glad I stumbled across this! Thank you!!

  • How ridiculous!

So much easier and much more effective to put your hand in his face-eyes.

  • YOU ARE AWESOME!!!!!!!!!! :D I was so angry today after thinking about how unfair it is that men have greater muscle mass...and that my male cousin who is one year younger than me and very skinny can keep an iron grip on my hand ( lol we were attempting to be ninjas)... I COULD NOT PULL MY HAND OUT!!!! I was so angry about this but now after seeing this I feel better :D

  • @MasterNinja1990 okay listen up, i dont care that much. go nag someone else.

  • This is a great technique. I teach this on my self defense classes. Karate is great!

  • No but you will be in a better position to run away or fight back. Ever stop and think about that now mister smarty pants. No situation is the same. And if you can get free without having to start a fight and risk getting hurt or going to jail, then thats your best option. Besides, she teches you a lot of karate techniques that you could use to bash the attacker if you wanted to.

  • @MasterNinja1990 i'm sayin you try the technique and they counterattack. what do you do then? these random videos wont help in a real situation. some guys dont stop when you "wrist release"

  • this really works ! my friends grab my hand very tight and i use this method it works ! :)

  • you are a "what ifer". get out of that negative mind set man. other wise you wont learn anything.

  • 1) what if the guy is strong enough, you cant 'block' him?

    2) what if he bends his elbow in when you try to push it?

  • @rioukgal

you're right this works, but once someone attacks you you must always finish the attacker for your own safety. But u didn't gett attacked so doing nothing worked for you.

  • Oh and NO I was not wearing a slut dress and I was not drunk either! A dog is a dog, wont matter what a woman wears! Women are attacked in their sweat pants, nuns are attacked, so the guy speaking bollocks about women deserving it can go grow a pair!

  • Every one bitching a moaning, GET OFF YOUR HIGH HORSE. This WORKS. I USED IT 3 weeks ago in a club, it's a simple technique, the guy let go and shat his pants and walked away! Why would I then go ans start shredding his eyes out and kicking his head in, he tried to get my attention aggressively but grabbing my wrist (which he had no right too), and gave him a firm hint to 'fuck off' - Leave it at that!
