Lobsterlings floating in a hatchery tank at the Mount Desert Island Oceanarium near Bar Harbor, Maine. The infant lobsters are kept in this state of agitated suspension because lobsters are natural cannibals that love a little lobster for dinner. The attendant told us that even when they are well fed, they cannot resist ripping off a claw or leg just for the hell of it.

The non-lobsters that sometimes appear are brine shrimp.
