  • People love to criticize. I want to see them play like this 12-year old boy. I doubt they can. He was excellent for his age and now he's the best.

  • you don't need to know chopin in person to understand what he wants

  • because you know chopin in person, you definitely know his wishes

  • I agree the orchestra should be heard more...but at least he plays it pretty well.

  • He is a bit stiff and the piano sounds a little off, but there is a lot of stress when you perform in front of others. Unless you've been there, I really can't explain it in words.

  • sigh, furthermore, I think either the mic is placed too close to the piano. After the brief interplude at 7:30, the piano drowns the orchestra until the end. Chopin definitely did not want that, even though he is a composer almost exclusively for the piano...
