@hsmit you might be thnking of my older brother Terry Trimble because I was just starting out freestyling in 86-87 and still in grade school, just competing in C.A.S.L I also might have got you mixed up with Hans Lindgren, but I've heart of you as well, and I remember seeing your name in contest stats and seeing clips of you skating and photos In the mags I think.

@3Deditor Thanks John! I'm racking my brain trying to think back to when we met. You're name sounds very familiar. Was it Expo 86, or Carson 87?

Smooth as ice, man. Hey, Wally from San Jose state says hi, if you remember who that guy is. Send me a PM and I'll give you his email if you don't already have it.

@hsmit yeah, that was rude. it's too bad young skaters have to be so arrogant and show little respect for skaters who were in the top arena back in their prime years. I think you're still doing very well Hans for skating as long as you have. you were one of the skaters I looked up to as a kid. I still freestyle now, and even though I'm not as good as I used to be, I still get major respect from younger freeestylers and street skaters. btw this is John Trimble. Terry Trimble's younger brother.
nice video. you still got it. love the footwork. I can't really do 540 shovits anymore either. sucks not being able to do the same tricks I used to do back in my prime.

@3Deditor Yup, it does suck. There are many tricks I can't do anymore, or refuse to do. I've given up the technical skating in favor of flow. It's better for the bones, and the deck. I had a great flow day today, just rolling, spinning, and stringing it all together. No ollie impossibles, or ollie finger flips today, just nice clean style. I've given up trying to repeat what I use to do, instead I take the things I enjoy doing and improving on them.
