Omaha Storm Damage 6.27.08 (5 of 5) [Now with audio!]

(Filmed east to south, from the roof -- notice some trees are normal and some had their leaves shredded off. Also, the white house has shingles missing and paint damage.) Rain, hail and high winds ripped through Omaha on June 27, 2008 around 5 pm. My century-old neighborhood had a lot of downed trees that damaged homes and cars. Luckily the tree at 48th and Capitol fell right in the middle of the street and only damaged 2 or 3 parked vehicles, so no one was hurt. Omaha has awesome citizens and it was cool when neighbors and even strangers stepped up to help clear and clean the street so traffic could get through again.
