Mesa is not the best higain preamp of this line, P1 and E1 are much better

Im looking for a Pedal that can do some brutal, meaty metal tones, but also fat blues licks when gain turned down ... which one would you recommend ?
Thinking about the E-1, M-1 or P_1

ops... achieve "THAT sound" :)
In a live stage setting how would you suggest using effects with several of these pedals in line? man do they really sound that good in person?

@JohnsonInc999 Yeah, they sound great. I'd put this first and all modulation and time based effects after it. Then from there you'd go to house. Drives and other dirt can be placed before it but will have marginal effect because the preamp is screaming already. Have fun. :)

@Burgerman666 I was thinking of running this into a MESA 2/90 simul power amp. But my one question is how to get a lead boost in volume with delay and verb at the same time. My thought was to run two of these and switch between a lower gain for rythym and then another one with more gain with a multi effects pedal pedal that would provide the effects and the slight volumeboost. Would you still go on the back end? Also do the pedals come with power adaptors?

@JohnsonInc999 AMT make an A/B switch/looper which would make life easier for you (or any other A/B looper for that matter). You could just insert a couple of these into it and switch between them. I'd still run effects post AMT's, though, as you've suggested. The Mesa rig would probably sound great, too. Nice one. :)

Hi!
What kind of cables do you use in this demo?
BobaHUN 1 year ago
@BobaHUN Providence cables. That's all I use these days. Expensive, yes, but worth it.
