I own an 85' city 1000,

We got 6 FULL BAGS of shopping in the boot and could drive with 3 kids in the back at the same time, we can't even do that in my mums car, New mini's are absolutely useless, i mean the engine has a sticker saying "mini" but it isnt is it, i mean look at the engine sizes that come in LET ALONE THE SIZE OF THE "CAR"!! have you ever seen something original and then seen a cheap crappy knock off that tries too hard well the classic mini is the original and amazing and the new mini is a crappy knock off with no flair

Its not a car, its a pet, you buy it, you train it (by doing what you want to it), you walk it every day, you play with it, you treat it (with some new bits), you name it, you feed it, you house it, you name it, you love it! What more could you want from a car! Its the only car in the world that was accidently built with a soul! And I Would Never Drive Any Other Brand!

Kinda cheated on my mini yesterday n drove the bosses BMW cooper s n tbh I hated it! Can't wait till i can afford to buy more mini's as tbh I wouldn't want any other car now n a message to those who don't have a mini, do as many people say n "own a mini at one stage in their life" :)

@MrShagger23 The new mini is a nice car in its own right, but so is the Honda civic and I think the new mini is more like a honda civic. Not even British design.

It's a shame it "stole" the name mini .

I'm going to change my name to Tom Cruise and see if I get a job in a movie.

The new mini should be called The BMW Miniture. Its not a mini, but its a tribute to it and a piss poor one at that.

The REAL Mini that transformed motoring & was voted car of the century. I detest the BMW Mini. It just raped the legend of the real thing. Hate it...absolutely hate it! I love the REAL (ie original Mini).
