This is an animation made with the Groboto software from BraidArtsLab.
I,m trying different methods to produce animations like the artist William Latham. Not as good as him though.
This took about 5hrs to render. All done with the same Auto bot just different settings and colour gradients.Comments welcome good or bad. Thanks for whatching.More to come soon.

  • Hi there, this bot is from the Orbnado Autobot Collection from Grobotos website.Oh by the way its free.I also change the view in the window to TOP View. Then just messed about with the parameters.Hope this helps, have fun.

  • Thank you.More to come when version 3 has been released.

  • Amazing!

I got a discount on this thing (75% off) and i'm thinking about getting it, but i must know, can I make fire, shirts with specific decals on them, and does it have cloth effects?

  • @LeonPryde

not quiet sure what you mean. This program is more of an organic modeller, maybe

something like Daz Studio would be better suited or Carrara is worth a look at.

    Thanks for the comment though.

  • Thanks for the nice comment, it makes it all worth while.

  • Very nice! I like the morph.

  • How do you make these kind of bots? All i can see is the built in default bots that come with the program...

  • I love it. I bought V2 a while back, didn't really know what it was capable of, then watched a tutorial recently, and bam, out comes version 3. I bought 2 when it was on sale at content paradise for $29.95, then because of V2 license, I got V3 for $40.00. $60.00 off the original price. Can't beat that. Going to look into doing animations like this. Interesting stuff. Looks like a morphing sea creature, one's we don't see because they are so deep.

  • Great animation. Thank you for posting

  • I was blown away by how much this is like William Latham 's video.

Do you have a website? any more of your groboto work?

    -cheers
