  • Sherap might not answer your questions : he was interviewed by me (he agreed to being posted). Yes sorry for the bad audio. Like most people who leave the Abbey, he is going through a transition phase that has its challenges.

  • I do appreciate you sharing your experience - fascinating...BUT....I sure wish there wasn't all that background talking. It makes it vary difficult to hear you.

  • Thank you for sharing your individual experience at Gampo Abbey... while personally I see rising at the crack of dawn or omitting meats from ones diet not all that challenging, especially if done for the right or ethical reasons, but what I wanted to ask re: your time at the Abbey was, knowing it changed your perception of monastic life (one thing to witness others verses our participating ourselves kind of like your skating analogy) do you think, based on your commitment to practicing the
