More fun with the new Springfield XDm 9 5.25. Since this is supposed to be a competition-ready pistol and the fact that I get a lot of requests to give more information about shooting competition, I thought I'd show some very basics of what shooting an IPSC / USPSA match is like. It's a feeble attempt, but it might give you a bit of a clue as to what you can expect. I did not mention that you'll normally have three or four different stages of fire, depending on whether it's a small local match, a regional match, or a national match.
Some set-ups are pretty involved, just as with Cowboy Action Shooting.

@XGHOSTDOGXx for handgun absolutely, but in my opinion and many will agree (including FPSRussia and possibly Hickok45) a Shotgun, remington or mossberg, with Birdshot is probably the best home defense weapon
