first off chopping longer samples into pieces. also u could drop some random tips and tricks, especialy those that improve workflow.

I love the Akai products from this era. They were so well built and designed. The front panel looked similar to something you might find in the scientific or medical field, very professional and very functional.

I just connected My EZ Drive (Nearly the same) and you have to check if its SCSI ID is set right. The standart ID for Hard Drive or ZIP on my Akai is 5. (Usually you can set it on the back of your Zipdrive) You can change the ID in the settings on your Akai but mine doesnt remember these settings so just set the device on ID 5. Tell us if it worked ;)

Hey, what's going on? Well, your tutorial on the akai s3000xl is excellent. However, I have a question for you: after I record all my samples, HOW DO I KEYGROUP THEM SO THAT THEY (5 SAMPLES) CAN BE PLAYED ON THE 1ST 5 WHITE KEYS ON THE KEYBOARD??? AS I SAID BEFORE, I'M A SLOW ON THIS PROCESS. LOL!! Tanx VINYLJUNKIE07!!!!!
