  • im bidding on the s3000xl lets hope i win as the person selling a s2000 was a let down :(

  • I love the Akai products from this era. They were so well built and designed. The front panel looked similar to something you might find in the scientific or medical field, very professional and very functional.

  • one of the best instructional videos on the web today for these superb machines. 5 stars *****

  • I just connected My EZ Drive (Nearly the same) and you have to check if its SCSI ID is set right. The standart ID for Hard Drive or ZIP on my Akai is 5. (Usually you can set it on the back of your Zipdrive) You can change the ID in the settings on your Akai but mine doesnt remember these settings so just set the device on ID 5. Tell us if it worked ;)

  • im trying to find the same thing, but PLEASE STOP USING CAPS!

  • GREETINGS!!!! Does anyone out there know how I can save my samples to my ZIP DRIVE??? I've been trying for awhile now, with no luck. someone PLEASE help me!!!!!

  • Hey, what's going on? Well, your tutorial on the akai s3000xl is excellent. However, I have a question for you: after I record all my samples, HOW DO I KEYGROUP THEM SO THAT THEY (5 SAMPLES) CAN BE PLAYED ON THE 1ST 5 WHITE KEYS ON THE KEYBOARD??? AS I SAID BEFORE, I'M A SLOW ON THIS PROCESS. LOL!! Tanx VINYLJUNKIE07!!!!!
