I update the AltanaView lists myself using Pebbles' POLUtils to look through the DATs. I'll host the updated list file soon.

5) It definitely has adventure, it has action, but not the twitch-gamer sort, skill is a must - but can be developed after starting. It has something most MMOs lack- a story that really pulls you in. It is definitely better than WoW, in my opinion, but then I'm not PvP-obsessed.

5. well in ffxi your not just mashing whatever ability you have ready on your action bar. in FFXI you have to think about what your doing and use your skills wisely. it looks 100x better than WoW. and it actually has a story that is worthy of the Final Fantasy series.

False, they already said why in an interview. It was to make a frontline job use a staff for meleeing since we don't see any. And it was also because people complain that MNK hit too fast and so they take all the hate. So they wanted to give MNK an option where they can slow down their attack by switching to kick.

So in other words its pretty much useless. It's a sad excuse for an update to the job because now its just getting stupid with SE. For people who made FFXI they sure are clueless about their own game mechanics that they have set up.

The real point of footwork as staed by SE is this: To get them more involved in HNM. Because of mnks speedy h2h attacks, they wound up feeding mobs way too much tp leaving mnk as a chi blast whore versus HNM. Foot work drastically decreases hit rate, and thus feeds less tp. Sadly, foot work isnt nearly strong enough to get mnk away from the chi blast only mentality.
