  • hi

I want to control laptop(XP) through my desktop(vista) in my own home, how do this?

    Step by step please

  • You cannot use Remote Desktop Connection to connect to computers running Windows Vista Starter, Windows Vista Home Basic, Windows Vista Home Basic N, or Windows Vista Home Premium. You can, however, connect from those editions of Windows Vista to computers running other versions of Windows.

  • YOU SEE, those three options for remote desktop do not exist on my vista or windows 7, so now what?

  • @punkofmusic99

  • Hi you pretty smart can u tell me why: each time i remote desktop connect my pc I white screen ??

  • poor tutorial because you actaully never demonstrated connection!

I am trying to connect from Vista to Win 7 and keep getting Remote Desktop can't connect to the remote computer. I get this both directions.

Any vista home edition won't have those options, you need a higher version of vista, like vista ultimate
