Plexus is a particle system for After Effects with some rather unique features. It creates particles connected by lines and is fully 3D with Depth of Field.
I aquired it yesterday and this is a first test. I'm busy teaching myself how to use it :)
The hands of the clock are actually separate layers that emit particles (layer emmitters usingTrapcode Particular 2).

  • @susilo297 Thank you! Glad you liked it. Yeah I've been spending a lot of time figuring out how to make the best use of Plexus. I really love this plugin.

  • Awesome look to this Eddy, i'm amazed by versatility of After Effects. I just wouldn't have the patience mate.

  • @SparkyGerbil LOL, yes you need a lot of time to figure it all out :)

  • That looks pretty cool Ed... though there are a few flashes of white that i couldnt tell whether they were intentional or it chugging?

  • @Katest3r I hadn't noticed that Kate but you're right. At the bottom side. That's unintentional but I sometimes get that with after effects. Some frames are only partially rendered and the rest is snow. Very good of you to point that out, it escaped my usually strickt quality control ^__^
