@indigenoussounds dear goodness, I know exactly what you're talking about! Opeth does all these crazy chords where they just seem to hit random notes, but it still sound well orchestrated. I have no idea.

2:25 is a bit of a trickier riff I cant get it at the tempo everything else is pretty easy in this song its a great song
