I've been carrying out the fragment of this song for years and finally got around to finishing it. It's all about the little compromises we make in relationships, even though we promise ourselves 'we would never do that'. When people get lost walking in the desert, they tend to turn ever so slightly to the left with each step, so that they gradually walk in a big circle and wind up where they started. Never even see it coming.
