Thanks for watching my video!

This video is a quick demo of the game level editor I've been working on in XNA. I've tried to make it as professional feeling/looking as possible.

The editor has quite a few advanced features, and is still under active development. As I use it to make ElectroStatic (the game Anti-Force is currently working on), I keep adding features that I want. If the XNA Community is interested, I could do a tutorial series on how I created the editor, or release it to the public. Please leave feedback, positive or negative so I know what to change!

  • Regarding the game Electro Static you're creating using this editor. I'm just a little curious when it comes to the physics in that game. Are you using any external framework or have you done it yourself? Either way, as the previous comment suggests, a tutorial on how to create a level editor like this one would be very much appreciated.

  • I started using the Farseer Physics Engine (which is excellent by the way), but found it to be lacking in several areas (especially at the time I started, the current one is much better).

I ended up modifying it so heavily they're basically two different things now. I used it more as guide.

I've been a bit busy lately, but after August 6, I'll have more free time, and I'll probably start making tutorials then. Keep an eye out for them, and let me know if you have any more questions =D

  • man that is awesome i like it

and yes please do a tutorial i need to know how so i can make my own

  • Thanks a lot, I'm glad you like it.

I've been pretty busy, but I'll be making some tutorials some time soon, keep an eye out for 'em. =D
