Home-made foot support for pigeon's injured leg

The 'shoe' keeps the toes separate from each other, in a natural position. It gives support, yet isn't too tight. There's a steady base under the foot, and some 'foam' in-between the toes. There also a steady support for the angle and and it's all taped with Micropore tape (breathable).

He stands/walks a little better with the 'shoe' on, keeping the foot and toes in the right position. He does have pain in it.
