Glenn Beck is a complete assclown. My sister used to be a drug rep and she was told on several occassions by doctors that other female reps would strip, not wear underwear with short skirts, etc. to get them to buy things. She declined his suggestion.

I worked for a company that planned "continuing education" meetings for doctors. Basically all expenses paid vacations with some marketing pitches. Each of these meetings could be 750k to 1.5 million dollars per meeting.

And in return the doctors subconsciously write more scripts for their meds. The only reason pharm companies sponsor CME (continuing medical education) is for an opportunity to talk about their drug. If anyone things pharm companies hold the interest of the patient above making money they are seriously disillusioned (gmanry).
