A short film by Zografia Films. An artist stumbles around Holborn, London one morning. He ponders the nature of his existence. What drives him to exist? His monologue meanders into the abstract, as he considers the Earthly purpose of art and what it means to him, and could, and perhaps should, mean to other people.
--Run time 5 minutes, Written and Starring Jonny Cripps, Directed and Edited by Alex MacMillan and Freddie Smith.

  • It has to be said, the "actor" narrating is probably one of the shittest I have ever seen or heard. No wonder the standard of british media has gone down the toilet. Mr. Cripps please consider ending your worthless little life. For the sake of us all! And "life in every breath" ripping off Ridley Scott's Last Samurai is bad, but when it's imitated so poorly is a crime. This pseudo poetry is only made worse by the cunt narrating it.

Hey Talent Scout, thanks for your critique - I shall pass on your advice to my friend.

I'm sorry you didn't enjoy the experimental work of three struggling students; this one is particularly difficult to understand though - it's meant to be enjoyed by passionate and constructive people, and I hope you'll appreciate that it's difficult to cater for everyone else.

Maybe you're more suited to mainstream entertainment? Try searching 'covers' and sort by 'view count'. Good luck.

  • @freddiesmithfiddle I think "stupid" is a necessary prefix to "passionate and constructive", as I said it's pseudo poetry, and really quite meaningless!...sorry. I'm glad you appreciate my candour though.

Perhaps you can ascend from the status of a struggling troika by dropping the aforementioned talentless anchor that seems to be weighing you down!

    Bon chance!

  • all artistic people have these existential internal monologues... its a beautiful portrayal... its made me feel a bit more normal!!!

you see the beauteous in almost... it affects you... lovely film... x x

  • what's up with the nipple jonny?

  • I just noticed for the first time Al Mac's camio on the park bench at 00:55, ahah! Love it.

  • Did you see the original cut by Almac, it was as rough as sandpaper, this cut is 10X better.

I think he made the contrast lower and the sharpness higher, or something like that for the colour.

PS Jonny walks all funny, why.

Gis updates on your Zografia updates, are you making a horror, comedy, epic, cos Al sounded uncertain?
