"Bliss" was composed by George Borowski, who was imortalised in lyric from the song "The Sultans of Swing" by "Dire Straits"......."Check out guitar George, he knows all the chords...."
This arrangement of "Bliss" was filmed during the recording of the CD "50 Years of Pipes and Drums" by The Pipes and Drums of The Scots Guards Association (Manchester).
The Piper is Pipe Major James Gray, who is accompanied by George and the Fabulous Wonderfuls.
I`m sure you`ll agree this is a lovely air, which lends itself well to the bagpipe.
The CD is available from Droit Music and the band at www.sgapipeband.com

  • This is, indeed, a fantastic Air composed by the one and only George Borowski, superbly complemented by the best in the business........James Gray. This HAS to be a hit. Well done ALL the lads.
