Alberto Sughi was born in Cesena in 1928. Considered one of the maior Italian artists of the generation appearing at the beginning of the Fifties, Sughi was the leading exponent of this figurative pictorial era in which "Existential Realism" was discussed. His work soon attracted the attention of art critics, causing a significant convergence of eminent scholars and essayists, even though of diverse orientations, and was presented in the most important collections of Contemporary Art, from the Rome Quadriennale to the Venice Biennale, as well as in many other exhibitions, showing other countries abroad what was happening in Italian Art from the Sixties until now.His search has proceeded, in a fairly constant manner, towards thematic cycles which have the feeling of cinematic sequences: from 1970-73 there were the so-called "green pictures", dedicated to the relationship between Man and Nature; from 1975-76 there was the cycle "The Supper"; the twenty paintings and the fifteen studies of Imagination and Memories of the Family" belong to the beginning of the Eighties; the series "Evening or Reflection" which represents the reflection of the artist concerning his role and the value of existence in the context of the contemporary world dates from 1985. At the beginning of the Nineties another cycle was given the significant title "Going whither?" "Night-time" ("Notturno") is his latest work.

Sgarbi,parla d'arte che è un piacere ascoltarti invece di perdere tempo con le cazzate della tv trash,della politica corrotta e le risse in tv dove ti schieri prepotentemente dalla parte del torto.

Se Sgarbi non avesse fatto le cose che ha fatto in TV, ora non riceverebbe il nostro commento e nessuno ci parlerebbe così bene di Sughi. Ha interpretato perfettamente i meccanismi televisivi molto prima degli altri. Inoltre al di la della forma con cui espone che è certamente particolare ha anche grande sostanza. Gli italiani confusi possono sempre andare in Albania e vedere quanto è bello li.

Na penso che un uomo del genere farebbe schifo comunque. So che ha fatto una vagonata di cazzate anche nel mondo dell'arte, anche se non ho indagato a lungo a riguardo perchè leggere il suo nome troppe volte mi fa venire la nausea.

Se Sgarbi anziché dedicarsi alle stronzate e alla volgarità, facesse quello che sa fare veramente, ovvero parlare di arte...l'Italia penderebbe dalle sue labbra
