Hold Back the Tide For You - Nicholas Lyne

This is my latest Song, "Hold Back the Tide For You", I wrote it this summer in Italy, but have only recently had time to record it. I used a Roland Fantom X8 for the organ and orchestal string sounds, plus the bell and percussion sounds, also a Roland V-Synth. The guitars used in the recording were a "71" Gibson Artist J200 and a "04" Gibson Les Paul standard Honeyburst, with Burstbucker pickups. Bass guitar used was a "78" Ibanez Black Eagle. Roland V drums. The video was made by my 13 year old son Luigi, who appears with me on the drums. For the video we used the Gibson Les Paul , a very rare 1975 Electra Super Magnum & a 1974 CSL 2661 Tree of Life Les Paul Black Beauty. hey whats the sg with the maple fretboard in the back, is it the tree of life sg,,oh and i really like this song

It's a rare 1974 Electra "Electric Oak", it's an SG with a Mahogany body which is carved with Oak leaves, Maple fretbaord, Tree of Life inlay, crome hardware, really great guitar, It's bigger brother is the Electra "Super Magnum" which we used for the video.
